From the main island of Langkawi we are sailing in the Andaman Sea to Pulau Dayang. Over a narrow land bridge we reach the freshwater lake Tasek Dayang Bunting (Lake of the pregnant girl). Apparently, a girl got pregnant, after having drunk from the lake.
The wonderful beaches on Pulau Beras Basah invite for a swim. A small jungle path leads us across a suspension bridge and into the treetops.

Von der Hauptinsel Langkawi segeln wir in der Andaman See nach
Pulau Dayang. Über eine schmale Landbrücke ist der Süßwassersee Tasek Dayang Bunting (See des schwangeren Mädchens) erreichbar. Angeblich wurde ein Mädchen, nachdem es aus dem See getrunken hatte, sofort schwanger.
Traumhaft schöne Strände auf Pulau Beras Basah laden zu einem Bad ein. Ein kleiner Urwaldpfad führt uns über eine Hängebrücke und in die Kronen der Bäume.
