Hey Guys, Unfortunately my friend Scott had a life changing accident in July, and I've been wanting to do something to help, so I thought it could be cool to do a fundraiser day down at Wakedock to help support. It would be so awesome if any of you could make it!! Here's Wakedock's booking site: https://wakedock.sports-booker.com or you can phone in to book on 01-664 3883 If you can't but would still be generous enough to donate, here's the link: https://www.gofundme.com/2j47rik Thanks so much (More info on injury): In July, Scott was in a serious accident at the beach , which left him with a broken neck and, at least for now, without the use of his legs. He is currently in hospital while he waits for an available bed in the National Rehabilitation Centre in Dun Laoighaire. Since then, Scott, with the support of all his family and an amazing group of friends, has begun a journey to recovery, which will be long and most likely very expensive. There are a number of things to consider going forward with this. We will have a better idea of specific costs once Scott has been transferred to Dun Laoighaire, however, future costs are likely to include: Redevelopment of his house to make it fully accessible, after he has returned from the rehab clinic in Dun Laoighaire. Any future equipment required, including wheelchairs, transport and whatever else Scott needs to live his life to his fullest potential Potential future medical and/or physio treatment that Scott might require that might not be covered by his medical card. Thanks for the support Dave
