This is the best elevator I found in Reno so far, and I can't believe I'm the first one to find it! Fully original, fully working, Atlas elevator in AWESOME condition! The door to this place was locked. I peeked in through the window and when I started walking away, the manager opened it and angrily asked me what I was up to. Once I told him about my hobby, he mellowed out and invited me in and told me a bit of history about the building. Here's something very interesting-this elevator actually REPLACED another elevator! There's no plans to modernize this elevator again. "We want to keep this property as preserved as possible" he says. Big round of applause! The building is so original, with gas-lit exit signs and toilets with the ceiling tank and pull chain. The elevator itself was nonetheless amazing. A bit slow, but it's old. Enjoy the video!
