As I have previously mentioned, the Beta Live kits are modified former-debug kits that only play the specific region's Beta Live code. There are only a handful of games that were compatible, and Unreal Championship was one of those games. To be honest, I am not certain that there are any real differences in this, but I haven't played the retail version in many years.
