So...How slow is too slow.  This is the fundamental problem the Police run into.  You see.... It's called a SPEED LIMIT....NOT SETTING!  My Grandma once while visiting relatives decided to bake a cake. But she found out that they did not have an electric mixer after she had all of her ingredients in The Mixing Bowl. But this was no real problem because all she had to do was mix it by hand 450 Strokes.

Now had she been baking a lemon meringue pie things would not have come out well at all. In order to get the egg whites to a meringue consistency she would have to beat the egg whites at an absolute in human speed. How many times she beat them is irrelevant. Because to create the correct consistency she would have to move at a certain speed setting.  

Luckily a bicycle utilizing Lane control under hazardous conditions on the road is not akin to baking a lemon meringue pie...there is no specific speed setting that a slower-moving vehicle is beholdin to while the hazardous conditions are present.

As I approach Tilton and Fire road intersection....we can see EXACTLY how heavy the traffic can be in both THROUGH lanes of travel to my left.  We can also see how dangerous it is for me to attempt lane merge after crossing Fire road.  Thankful the Porsche driver didn't give me shit and let me merge.  As for my speed.... well it all depends on a number of factors.  How busted is the Carriage Way?  How stiff of. A head wind is there? And of course I do my absolute best to keep the BLACKRIDER well tuned and in proper working order.  But if I'm being honest (as I always am), there are times it takes me a bit longer to travel this section of the road.  But this brings us back to square one.... HOW SLOW IS TOO SLOW???  Do I not pass cars that still have yet to match my speed as I approach from the rear?  Are they impeding traffic?  Oh....that's right.  Police don't consider a Cyclist traffic despite the law saying that I am and that I have all of the rights and responsibilities of said traffic.
