Flint and steel ignition of amadou tinder fungus with 2 methods: First with char cloth lampwick as the go-between; and second directly on already burnt or charred amadou. I am a beginner and the learning curve is really fun! The amadou comes from the birch horse hoof tinder fungus, sometimes called "false tinder fungus" because it does not take a flint and steel spark as easy as Chaga "true" tinder fungus does. However as I am learning, once the amadou is burnt or charred it takes a spark readily. In my previous video I showed how easy it is to light amadou with a ferro rod.
