The Pride of the CN Fleet working the Sussex Sub today!

A Southern New Brunswick Autumn Railfanning Video!

Canadian National Railway locomotives 4802 (EMD GP38-2W), 9524 (EMD GP40-2LW), 4135 (EMD GP9RM), and 9482 (EMD GP40-2LW) power CN manifest train A406 West (Moncton, NB Gordon Yard to Saint John, NB NBSR Island Yard) westbound through Petitcodic, NB hauling 87 cars included many tankers heading to the Irving Oil Refinery in East Saint John.

A rare sight these days, however 25 years ago this power was common on main line operations including intermodal trains.

Filmed at 2:28pm, Sunday October 29, 2017 at about mile 20.7 of the CN Sussex Subdivision.
