Temporary inspiration is the idea that for a certain period of time you find an outlet, something that really interests you and you dive into it and you're so passionate about it that for a few weeks or months it consumes your life. Eventually you reach this point where you kind of lose interest. Even though you're still enjoying it and having fun, it becomes boring and you kind of just give up. In this talk, Jasmin shares how she believes we all can overcome temporary inspiration. I think I'm funny sometimes and I do A LOT of thinking. I'm a pretty creative person and play a few instruments but not very well. I'm involved in leadership and theatre production at school. I enjoy solving/reading mysteries and I'm a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes. I love making new friends and meeting new people but I always end up in the comfort of my own home with a hot cup of tea and a good book. My Instagram feed has become an “accidental aesthetic” due to my growing interest in photography. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
