23 drivers come storming in to the half-mile track of Martinsville Speedway for 10 laps. This is the second race in a row that the Kingsford Cup Series has visited a half-mile track. If you guys needed a little more explaining about the championship contention thing, I'll explain more. So basically if you have a win THIS season, you are a contender for the championship for the finale. There are 8 TOTAL contenders for the championship. The final spots left are filled in by points positions. If you enter the finale with a WIN, you get 5 bonus points for the finale.
