Meet one of our “medium” giant sea bass. This guy weighs a mere 70 pounds but could grow to over 500 pounds! Giant sea bass develop slowly and not much is known about their growth history. By tracking the growth of different sized giant sea bass here at the Aquarium, we’re learning more about how to protect this critically endangered fish.
