Overnight Spike In Gas Could Indicate High Summer Prices

We are a long way from the summer driving season, but apparently gas prices are getting a head start. Across the St. Louis metro area, there was a 10-cent jump in gas prices overnight and a 20-cent jump over the past couple of days. And we are going much higher before summer gets here. The St. Louis average is now about $2.60 a gallon.
