(17 Nov 2018) Hundreds of demonstrators participated in a colourful Pride parade in the Chilean capital on Saturday to demand equal marriage and adoption rights for members of the LGBT community. As they marched - and danced - to the beat of electronic music, participants called on the government to take action by chanting slogans such as "enough of the blah-blah". "We are not asking for any gifts, we are asking for the same rights that heterosexuals have to apply to us, to all of us, that is what we are asking," said Cati, a participant who did not give her last name.
