I have been commissioned by the 'Lewes Library' to recreate a local story of my own relating to an event that took place in Sussex. After spending a few weeks researching, I came up with the idea of 'Mods vs Rockers' particularly in the 60's.

I set my project around the feud that took place between subcultures down Brighton Beach in 1964. I went down to Brighton beach and took many photographs to back up my research. I then contacted Jonathan Leroy from 'Jump The Gun' down in Brighton North Laines, who helped me arranged an interview with one of his employers from 'Jump The Gun'. Jump the Gun is one of the only quality mod clothing shops left in England. They've been selling mod clothing from the same location for the past 20 years.

The interview was originally around 6/7 minutes long but I sadly had to cut a lot of cool footage to make it into a one minute film for my college examination! I am planning to make a longer film with the rest of the footage in my spare time - so please keep an eye out for it!

Thank you very much for taking the time to watch my video.
