Nintendo have detailed the Nintendo Switch Online service this week; the service will be $4 a month or $20 a year, and contains a collection of classic games with added online play, access to online lobbies and voice chat with the accompanying app, eShop deals, and online play on Switch games. The service is due to launch in 2018; online play for Switch titles will remain free until then. Lost Sphear was announced this week, an RPG from the developers of I Am Setsuna, and it will launch early next year. The game expands on the developer's previous game, with a new ATB system allowing for easy player movement. Lab Zero have announced Indivisible for the Switch; it'll launch with the other versions in 2018, thanks to a funding increase from 505 Games. If you Kickstarted the game you can redo your backer survey to select the Switch version. Phantom Trigger, a self-touted hardcore action RPG from Bread Team and the publishers of Mr Shifty, tinyBuild, will be coming to the eShop in the summer. Ironcast, steampunk match 3 title from Ripstone, was announced for the Switch this week. It'll also be out sometime in the Summer. Hyper Sentinel, retro scrolling shooter from developers Huey Games, is coming to the Switch in the summer as well. Picantier, a small scale farming and lifestyle RPG from Circle Entertainment and previously announced for 3DS, is coming to the Switch as well. No date just yet. Abylight Studios have announced Qbics Paint, a 3D sculpting and painting game, is coming to the Switch sometime this year. It'll have both sculpting and creating modes, a 24 color palette, and ways to share your creations. Physical Contact Speed, a two player card game, is coming out worldwide in the next few weeks for $5 or your equivalent. You can see the rules on screen right now. I And Me, an indie platformer from Steam about controlling two cats at once, is coming to Switch thanks to Ratalaika Games. No date has been given yet, but it'll be $10 USD or your equivalent. Anonymous;Code, a visual novel from the same series as Steins;Gate and Chaos;Child, will be releasing on Switch sometime in the future. No more details available other than that. More titles have been confirmed for the Arcade Archives lineup; first is that Data East titles have been confirmed, with the first being Magical Drop 2. The second and third are Fatal Fury 2 and Metal Slug 2, both of which will be out sometime in the Summer. Dates! Plantera DX is coming to the Japanese eShop next week. Shantae: Half Genie Hero will be out on the 8th of June in Europe; hopefully next week for America as well. GoNNER will join it on the 8th as well in both territories. Sonic Mania has been confirmed for August 15th digitally at a price of $20 USD; only the collector's edition will be available physically. Dragon Quest Ten (X) will launch in Japan on the 21st of September. Battle Chasers: Nightwar is releasing on the 3rd of October. And finally this week; if you buy NBA Playgrounds before the promised online patch, good news for you! You get a free copy of Shaq Fu: The Legend Reborn on Switch when it launches. That's it for this week. I'm gonna have to start shortening these clips if these weekly updates keep being this long, heesh. I don't have any Switch videos planned for the next week, but thankfully the week after has ARMS and Mighty Gunvolt Burst, so that'll be good. Thanks to my Patrons, Joey, Felimban, Richard, Chen, Eric, Alan, Adam, David and Bliz. Like, subscribe, comment and share the video around if you liked it. Like, subscribe, yadda.
