Pokemon Red/Blue Mew Glitch

Here is a video of me catching mew WITHOUT using a gameshark, or any other means of cheating. This will work on any version of red or blue. This also works with pokemon yellow. STEPS: 1) Catch an abra in the grass north of cerulean. If you have trouble catching it due to it teleporting, try using a jigglypuff to put it to sleep. You can find one before the entrance of the cave near pewter. 2) Walk up to the guy left of the water BUT DO NOT BATTLE HIM!!! advice here: save. Next take one step down and IMMEDIATELY press start so you do not battle him. Then select your abra to teleport. 3) Now your start menu will be disabled, dont worry it will work again shortly. Now battle the trainer I battled with the slowpoke. YOU MUST MAKE HIM WALK TO YOU. (just like I did in the video). you must battle him, and if you already battled him, im sorry but you are out of luck. 4) after u beat him, teleport back to cerulean again. (your start menu should work) then walk up to the bridge. After you get to a certain point, your start menu will pop up automatically. My advice is to save here beacuse once you exit the menu, mew will immediately appear. 5) Catch mew! Shouldnt be too hard, but it might take a few pokeballs, try to get his hp down fairly low.
