Now that Desmond is getting more comfortable in reliving Ezio's memories, the crew decide they should take a break to let Desmond rest. He begins to have visions outside the Animus, reliving a memory of his older ancestor, Altair. He shrugs off the strange occurrence and continues on as Ezio. Ezio meanwhile reunites with his friend Leonardo Da Vinci, and rides along with him to Venizia (Venice). In Venizia Ezio meets new foes and new friends, as he integrates himself into Venizia's complicated political climate.
