With a background in Fine Arts and Documentary Photography, Ana Catarina Pinho works in the field of Visual Arts and holds a PhD in Photography, at the University of Wales (UK), with a scholarship granted by FCT.

His work has been published and exhibited internationally and his latest projects will be presented this year at the Mediterranea Young Artists Biennale in Albania and at the European Capital of Culture 2017 in Aarhus, Denmark.

In parallel with her artistic practice, she coordinates Plataforma Archivo, which she founded in 2011, where she publishes a magazine and publishes the work of several researchers and contemporary artists.

Lives and works between Portugal and the United Kingdom.
