SALMON CYCLIST PINNED DOWN: FAILURE TO USE LANE CONTROL

I really wish I could have captured more of this situation. The CYCLIST (who departed English Creek shopping Center full 10 mins a head of me) was pinned down at the exit mouth of the Wrangleboro road jug handle. This is EXACTLY what I'm trying to educate the public about. Its not just narrow lanes, its also fast waves of traffic ( whether you're riding with or against the flow of traffic), that can pin a cyclist down and trap them there in a very dangerous position for several minutes. But....by following the law and riding with the direction of traffic instead of against it, AND by using lane control I'm able to traverse this section of tarmac with MINIMAL RISK! Like I told Det. Duffiel, there are no guarantees of safety regardless of your mode of transportation. The best was can do is take the most PRACTICAL method and be aware of our surroundings. Something drivers lack a great deal of!
