A jingle and hand clapping teaching strategy is utilized to engage young boys and girls in a music type setting. In addition, the clapping helps children develop coordination and motor skills. Also the hand clapping helps to keep a beat and the child focused. Since kids love songs, the lesson is called a song to get children excited about learning. A whole brain lesson is a lesson using all three learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic). Whole brain mentor teacher, Sunday Heppner, demonstrates how to make learning fun for kids. Research has shown that ADD, ADHD, and RSP benefit from lessons that utilize both the whole brain (left and right side). .
