In 1987 I went to Arkansas to find who was my great great grandfather that my father never knew. I found his headstone (b. 1855) and since then lots about his short life (31 yrs) but never found his parents. He and a sister were cared for by another family in 1870 but are nowhere in 1860 under any variation of Henson. Eventually I did DNA testing and finally got a perfect 37 marker match - to a BOREN in SC and they are stuck in the 1840s. Then I got another perfect 37 match - to a Berryman in TX. We cannot find where the 3 families crossed paths. 
 
 The other half of me is Cornish - my mothers grandparents all came from Cornwall in the 1860s & '70s.
