Panic Room (2002) tells the story of a mother and daughter who have just moved into a new home in the city. The home comes equipped with a panic room, which is lucky because during their first night in the house, some burglars break in and try to rob them. We talk about the dangers of drinking in the bath; aiming too high with your plans for a robbery; and the difficult value judgement in calling the emergency services or calling a sleeping man with no experience of siege situations.
