We make a boat tour over Lake Baringo with Cliff, probably the best guide we had during our trip. We see weavers building nests and ospreys picking up fish from the water in their flight. Due to a blockade of an underground river in the Rift Valley the level of the lake raised eight meters within two years, a disaster for agriculture and tourism. Hippos now live on the ground floor of the mayor's former home.
