Vancouver Coyote Showing Unusual Behavior

This city coyote is certainly not showing typical coyote behavior. Normally urban coyotes are not this relaxed around the presence of people. They commonly keep their distance of at least 150 feet. In my opinion, it seems that this animal is getting fed by people which would explain why it appears to be so laid back around the presence of humans. I can see why this he chose this area, there is abundant food sources in this area for any urban coyote to survive. Video taken in Vancouver B.C. Canada.
