The British Council General, Jessica Hand, opened the TEDxSilkRoad conference and explained what the old routes of commerce named Silk Road mean today and pointed to their increasing significance again. As the global economic powers shifts from west to east, these routes and the countries on it, gain new significance and new opportunities emerge...
