Thanks for coming over. This is Amodeus and today’s dungeon hunter champion video is about why SW11 is better to farm than SW10 after Update 4

Everybody has had a chance to play around with UPDATE 4 and I have gotten an amazing amount of feedback from the community about the good, the bad, and the ugly of Update 4. Keep me in the loop as you find out all the craziness in your testing and I’ll keep sharing mine. The most important thing I realized since Update 4 is that it is EASIER to Farm Steel Widow 11 than Steel Widow 10.

I’m not just talking here. The developers said they wanted Steel Widow 10 to be this iconic achievement in your Dungeon Hunter Champions Career. That makes a lot of sense if you are a new player coming in fresh and you are setting expectations from the jump. For the rest of use we have to accept the landscape has changed. Part of this is accepting that Steel Widow 10 just isn’t for Farming. It’s a right of passage you have to complete before you can be welcomed into the Mid-Game and the Ascended realms, where farming really begins…or some such nonsense.

What I see as one of the key obstacles to overcome in the newly buffed Steel Widow 10 is time. As it stands, you need more than just Xenia and a bunch of great DPS on your team. Even if you were an OGD player before then the new cleanses before immunity and invulnerability means you just can’t depend on Xenia to solo strip anymore.

You need a wider diversity of champions like Vimal and Wrona that have support roles on your team AND can be built to do damage. This also means building units much more hybrid than before which means less damage and Ultimately this just means the raids take a bit longer.

Now, the whole reason I didn’t farm the ascended raids before was because they took too long compare to SW10. However, if SW10 and SW11 take the same time after Update 4, but SW11 offers better chances at 6* gear then I’m at a loss as to why I or anyone else is going to farm SW10 anymore.

To illustrate this point you’ve been watching several teams I have been using to farm SW11 and I know they are only going to get faster as I get my hands on that coveted 6 star gear. I’ll be doing champion videos for post Update 4 this week too, but for now let me know what you think?

Is SW11 the new farming raid or are you keeping at SW10? Let me know in the comments below and thanks again for coming over. Have a great day!
