Budget chief Lamassoure: 'Unanimity clause a failure of Lisbon'

The European Parliament has held a meeting of the Budget Committee in Brussels December 8. The main budget related argument in recent times has been the proposed member states contribution being raised to 6%. This proposal was however put down when David Cameron UK Prime Minister lead a group of members in protest at the last European Council Summit in Brussels.
