A smear test is a thing most of us girls would rather not have, but cervical cancer is a killer and something we must protect ourselves against. Please SHARE this with all of your female friends and encourage every woman to get screened. Abnormal Smear Test - I had an abnormality meaning I needed a pap test at 15 years old. Abnormal smear results are scary but the smear test procedure isn't as bad as you think. Abnormal cells or an abnormal pap smear doesn't mean you have cervical cancer. If you do have an abnormal result, don't panic! You may have to come back for a colposcopy on your cervix.
