Note: This video does not use any codes. Saix is one of my favorite fights, but it's kind of annoying in the data version. The most obvious change is the way the battle starts. You can to whack on him a lot at the beginning. With the right setup, you can take out bars of life before he even goes Berserk the first time. I'm only level 49 so I could only manage 5 bars. When he goes Berserk the first time, he has the basic move set of his first form in the normal fight. However, the scary thing is the Claymores. They only show up for about 1 second. What's worse is you must also use them in one or two seconds on Saix. Not a very long time. However, if you learned how to grab them the correct way in the original fight, that shouldn't be a hard adjustment. About halfway through his HP he'll gain his normal Desperation Move you should be familiar with. However, it's much faster. But I actually think it's easier to dodge than his normal one, simply because it's also shorter. As long as you don't let him do it 5 times in a row by missing Claymores, you'll only have to go through a few or so. Getting a no damage isn't tough at all on this one. His Desperation Move is the only problem, but you can definitely dodge most of it with High Jump + Aerial Dodge + Glide. Whenever he does one of the two finishers during it, drop down and quickly get back up and determine if he's following you on the left or right, and move the opposite way. Not too bad. Just a tad bit of luck is required on that. So this fight is a great way to use 3 finishers. How did I do it without using Rumbling Rose? 1. Your normal default finisher. 2. KH2FM starts you out with a Finishing Plus ability on Critical Mode. 3. Ability learned at LV 49 if you picked the Sword at the beginning. Yes, this also means you can do a total of 4 finishers if you equip the Rumbling Rose. But I tested it out on this fight, and Saix takes more damage from 3 Finishers from Decisive Pumpkin than 4 Finishers with Rumbling Rose. crazy, huh. Overall though, one of the easiest, if not the easiest, Data member fight. Could have spiced it up a little more. Last but not least, wonder why I use Blizzaga after his DM? I BELIEVE it makes him attack you faster, which I THINK gives you a better chance of knocking him out of Berserk instead of him doing another DM. I do not know if this is true or not, but seeing as how it worked the entire video I would assume it should. If I'm wrong though feel free to tell me. Note: This game is Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, not KH2. In Final Mix, if you play on Critical Mode, you start out with a couple abilities (Finishing Plus, MP Hastega, EXP0). So do not comment saying "how is it possible that you got (insert ability here) so early". Note2: I got KH2FM from play-asia.com, and swap magic 3.6 from thegiantstore.com. Do not message me about it. Note3: KH2FM has Japanese text with English voices. So don't comment stupid things like "hey how come he have teh english voice lolol"
