LOTS OF SPOILERS IN THIS VIDEO! I discovered this some time ago but never bothered to record it. If you warp into the second room of the Sword Cave before the scene with the Telepathy Ball and examine the Alis statue the Elsydeon cutscene will play out. Keep the warp code on and instead of ending up in the Telepathy Ball room afterwards you'll still be in the room with the Alis statue. And your entire party will be Chaz. I'm not sure if it works that way without the custom party hack. But there's a chance not using that hack could just make the game freeze due to having the wrong party while sequence breaking. But each Chaz shares the same pool of HP, TP and skills. And if they get hit or use points for something everyone gets the same deduction. So... Not all that useful. You'll see the Telepathy Ball sprite on the floor. You cannot interact with it or examine it. Even without the walk through walls code it isn't solid. I'm thinking the table it's usually placed on is the trigger to bring up the text. But if you turn the code off and leave the cave you will travel back in time. The cutscene where Rune inherits Lutz's memory will occur as soon as you leave the Telepathy Ball room. Then you'll find yourself time traveling to the future! As in the end of the game. Now I was wrong about the "talk" feature not being affected by sequence breaking. If a major event occurs it will change. Although I'm not sure if every "talk" event does it or just certain ones. I can't remember if I had a situation where that didn't happen. As you can see I use "talk" to show where I am in the game before battle warping. And after the backwards flowing cutscenes I checked it again. And it shows the second to last "talk" dialog. This means The Edge has opened up. I checked this out too and lo and behold Mile's population was dead, Zio's Fort was still standing and his church still open and the barrier still blocks access to Nurvus. I'm sure there are various other anomalies present. In other worlds Algo has become chaotically anachronistic. This makes for a rather amusing and interesting alternative set of consequences for the effects of The Edge. I haven't fully explored this of course. But I imagine that nothing would change the fact that The Edge is there. But you could have some fun with the various anomalies caused by this. The coordinates I have been using are the "scroll" coordinates and not the "position". Mostly because scroll is easier for me to pinpoint by number. But you can use either as they both point to the same locations. Here it is X: 0168 Y: 0178. You just need to approximate. It doesn't have to be exact. You just don't want to get stuck in the black abyss. and have to navigate back to the room. Codes used: Walk through walls: RFPT-J6YE No random encounters (convenience in Sword Cave): AB6A-LA4W Sword Cave B2: FFEC29:015E and FFEC28:1 Alternately you can use FFEC28:015E Get codes here: https://tcrf.net/Notes:Phantasy_Star_IV:_The_End_of_the_Millennium http://www.angelfire.com/games2/codehut/
