Tema con variazioni
The second violinist’s life is far from glamourous: practice, bus journeys, unanswered calls... until one day a mysterious voice reaches out from his phone screen: from then on, boundaries between fact and fantasy, love and violence, past and present will be dissolved…
Dennacha Dennehy’s / Enda Walsh’s The Second Violinist, one of 2017 operatic revelations and winner of the 2017 Fedora prize, will be streamed on OperaVision from 2 February at 19.00 CET.
