First, the song used in this video is "As Warm as Tears" by Phil Keaggy from his album "Beyond Nature." This is a road trip my wife and I just took over the first three weeks of September. We left our home here in Tacoma, Washington, and drove down the coast to Los Angeles, over to Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon, then up through Utah, Wyoming, and Montana, then back over to Washington. Besides the Grand Canyon, we visited Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Park. We covered about 4,700 miles over the 9 western states. The three time-lapse sequences were shot with my Nikon D3 (still images shot with a cable release timer) and assembled into video using Adobe After Effects. Everything else in the video was shot on my Panasonic LX-7. The final video was assembled and edited in Adobe Premiere.
