(1 Nov 2018) South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Thursday his party has survived a "very dark period". Ramaphosa said the African National Congress (ANC) has begun to deal with once rampant corruption. The president spoke at a Foreign Correspondents Association press club meeting in Johannesburg. Ramaphosa added the ANC were a party "on the move" and said South Africans could see the transformation unfolding.
