Philippines ambassador seeks better protection for Filipino students

The Philippines' ambassador, Jesus Domingo, is asking New Zealand tertiary institutions to formally declare they won't mislead Filipino students or use dodgy agents to recruit them.

Mr Domingo is developing a code of practice for institutions that enrol students from the Philippines because he is worried there are gaps in the New Zealand government’s regulations.
