Someone gave us this parakeet and the only thing they said was she was old and crabby, but what we found was the sweetest girl ever but her nails were horrible as some were very straight and lond and one was broke off right to the toe and another is curled upward. Her wings are weird and she can't fly. (I clipped them a bit to see if it would help her balance better since she is always falling, and if she lands on her back she can't get up. I wonder if she was in a cramped cage maybe no perches I really don't know so I'm asking you maybe there is a bird expert or someone with ideas. I already clipped the nails that were bad and clipped her wings a bit just to help her balance and maybe be able to get up better. UPDATE.... Crystal is stronger and able to flip her self over most of the time now. Still falls often but she is a very happy bird. some honors this video recieved #31 - Most Discussed (Today) - Pets & Animals #44 - Top Rated (Today) - Pets & Animals
