Now that we have regained conciousness. We set off towards Kaipo, the desert village. It is here we find an INN to put Rydia in. At night, Baron soldiers come barrging in, disturbing everyone. They confront a General of the Baron Guards. It is here that the king found out that both Cecil and Kain were unsuccessful in their mission and ordered them to track the last remaining summoner and kill her. Having a vow to protect Rydia, Cecil fights the guards. This is the longest part of the video seeing as how many just kill the three guards and miss out on major Gil and EXP. What you do is, kill two of the guards and keep attacking the general until he is defeated. As long as there is one guard on the screen to command, the general will not run away. Its better to kill 2 guards than just kill the general head on when there is three. The guards are what allows the General to attack you, think of them as lifelines. Now that you've dispatched the general and his guards. Rydia opens up just a little and at least tells you her name and becomes a part of your party. While as weak as she is, you will meet up with a powerful caster down the line. But for now, check the house on the east side of the town to find Rosa of all people. She crossed the desert and has become sick. Only the Sand Ruby can cure her of her sickness. So forward you go to the cave in the east of Kaipo. (This part also goes to a friend of mine since today is his birthday, so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone.)
