Claude Debussy - Le vent dans la plaine

This is a video from my second solo piano recital, performed on July 14, 2013. This recital was a performance of preludes by Claude Debussy, and this piece is Le vent dans la plaine (The Wind on the Plain), from Preludes, Book I. Apologies for the awkward camera angle - our piano is in the corner of the living room, so it's a bit difficult to film on a Flip camera in a way that can show the performer's hands and profile without the side wall getting in the way. This was the second piece I performed. This is a rather playful piece with a bit of anxiety in the mood, and I kind of wish the aspect of anxiety could have been a little less obvious. The piece is quite fun to play but it is definitely tricky in some parts, especially the fast jumps that I never seem to get right every time. Still, I hope you like it.
