The No. 5 University of Minnesota volleyball team won in straight sets (25-23, 25-23, 25-21) to defeat Maryland at Maturi Pavilion. With the win, the Gophers improve to 22-2 and are 11-2 in conference play. Minnesota hit .232 and had 41 kills in the three set victory. Stephanie Samedy led the Gophers with 18 kills and hit .471, followed by Alexis Hart with eight and Molly Lohman had six and hit .444. Dalianliz Rosado and Samedy both produced nine digs and Samantha Seliger-Swenson had 38 assists. Taylor Morgan led the team in blocks with four and Lohman had three.
