In March 2014, HASSELL undertook a week-long design hub with the City of Unley in Adelaide to discuss a new framework for its main high street, King William Road. To ensure the public was included in the discussion, a 'parklet' was installed in two parking spaces on King William Road. This simple intervention reclaimed part of the street for the public and encouraged people to think a little differently about their public realm. https://www.hassellstudio.com/
