DAYTON -- New surveillance video has been released in the deadly robbery at the Dayton Mall in December. Keyan Moore is charged with involuntary manslaughter and robbery after the holdup ended with the death of Moores friend and accused leader of the robbery. A hearing was held Tuesday to determine whether Moore should face charges as an adult. Prosecutors and the defense showed the surveillance video of the moments leading up to and right after the shooting. Prosecutors say the 16-year-old Moore of Middletown was one of three teens who tried to rob an adult of athletic shoes. That adult, a valid concealed carry permit holder, pulled his firearm and shot a teen with Moore. That teen, 16-year-old Jawad Jabbar died from that single gunshot. The adult was cleared of wrongdoing. Under Ohio law, an individual is culpable for any death that occurs during the commission of a robbery, including the death of and accomplice. A third teen was suspected to be present during the robbery. However, prosecutors have declined to file charges against him. The judge did not give a time frame for when he would announce his decision on the future of the case. Originally posted Tuesday, Jan. 27th, 2015
