416-962-2623 / 1-866-760-2623 immigroup.com cic.gc.ca Q: How to become a sponsor for a person applying on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds? A: To become your sponsor, the person eligible to apply must submit the Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344) and a Document Checklist (IMM 5287). There needs to be a document proving the relationship -- a photocopy of the sponsor's birth certificate, if he or she is the child of the applicant or a photocopy of an adoption certificate if the applicant is an adopted child. Your sponsor will also need to provide proof of his or hers status in Canada, whether it be a proof of permanent residence status or of a Canadian citizenship. http://www.immigroup.com/news/how-apply-humanitarian-and-compassionate-grounds Re Quality and Feedback email [email protected] (Please reference Research and Development) Did you catch a mistake?
