South African group formed in Pietermaritzburg in 1966, with the original members being: Ricky Kielly (lead vocals), Andy White (bass, ex Vampires), Gerard Hawes (keyboards, harmonica, guitar), Malcolm Watson (lead guitar) and Dave Campbell (drums). In 1970 Andy White was replaced by Richard Mitchell (ex Nu-Trends). From 1972 to 1973 the line-up changed to: Rod Kielly (trumpet), Lionel Kielly (woodwinds), Peter Lynch (sax, flute), Mike Pilot (guitar), Gerard Hawes (trombone, keyboards), Eddie Boyle (bass), Dave Campbell (drums, percussion) and Dennis East (vocals). They were extremely popular on the nightclub circuit, and also had a number of South African Top 20 hits, with "How do you do" going to number 4 in 1972 and "Going down Jordan" to number 7 in 1973. This song is off the album "Volume Two!", released in 1970. It's a cover of a BJ Thomas song from 1969.
