Archos 7 home tablet video review
7" android powered 8gb entertainment tablet, the Archos 7 uses WIFI to browse the web, read ebooks, movies, videos, listen to music, or play apps and gamesl. The design is lightweight, and offers a kickstand. However, all of these features are crippled by a slow processor, lack of android marketplace, and only android 1.5 cupcake; meaning no flash, multitouch on the resistive screen, or ability to download popular apps like angry birds. No Bluetooth, microphone, webcam, camera, accelerometer G-sensor.
That said, this is very inexpensive, and for the $200 price, it offers excellent battery life for watching a wide range of movies when on the road. Although the Archos 7 is far from perfect, it entertains for basic web browsing, ereading, and PMP functionality.
