Beauty and the Beast is 23 this year! In light of that accomplishment, I consider the common critiques of the movie. I tackle why Stockholm syndrome and bestiality aren't actually aspects of Belle and Beast's relationship, and how Belle's decisions and control of her own life are the key component to my arguments.
