Bay Matthews explores and exposes the raw and vicious truth of the Internet, and how we interact with one another digitally. After reading many disparaging comments posted online for others to read, Bay was moved to find a way to foster a positive environment online. Bay shares her idea with the audience at TEDxYouth@MBJH during this talk.  

Bay is an eighth-grade student at Mountain Brook Junior High and is a member of the MBJH TEDEd Club. She enjoys writing, making short films, and playing music. She loves watching movies and someday hopes to make a few of her own.
