This is a song I wrote about really liking someone, despite their imperfections. But infatuation is a powerful thing. It can truly blind us at times and make us think someone is something they're really not. Almost like putting their true identity in the blind spot during a drive on the highway of love lol :p. We've all been there at some point. Thinking and even hoping that someone is a good fit for us, when in reality, they're just not. The fact remains, it's incredibly hard to stay away from something you "think" is great.

It's important to keep your head up, remember that you're human and don't dwell or beat yourself up too much over it. On the real though, I'd encourage you to turn to God for guidance if you ever find yourself in the same situation I was once in. Peace and God bless! :)
