Years ago, a road ran past two homesteads in the middle of a field in Lemont, IL.  In the early 1970s, one home was demolished and the other abandoned the road was also abandoned, and a thick forest grew-up around the structures.  Today, the ruins of one homestead and the road lay deep in the forest preserve, forgotten by most.

On this episode of Strange Places, I venture into these woods to rediscover these ruins.
