How to record PRO sounding vocals in the home studio - 5 tips!

1. Use a pop filter to manage plosives and popping of your P's as well as sibiliance (S sounds)
2. Distance from the microphone - don't eat the mic!
3. Use an audio interface with a good quality preamp
4. Use closed back headphones such as the Sennheiser HD 280s (or eadbuds!)
5. Set input gain lower to avoid clipping and distorting
