Despite the potential of XR real world users are turned off by technical jargon and intimidated by complicated hardware. For immersive technology to reach its potential we need to be engaging audiences emotionally. Having been an evangelist for XR since 2012, Andy Nye has acquired some scars and some definite views on the future of immersive tech.

​ Andy has been in digital for almost 20 years and now heads up New Moon Studios. They are an immersive technology studio based in York.

Working with brands such as English Heritage, the National Army Museum, Vodafone and IBM they specialise in using new technologies to engage consumers and to solve real world problems.
