Long before Neil Diamond became famous here in the UK, he was having chart success in America. Back in October1966, he released his third single over there - and this was the b-side. The record made it to #16 on the Billboard charts. But his talent for songwriting hadn't escaped the attention of UK artists like Lulu - who recorded this and released it as an a-side in 1967 - and was rewarded with a Top 10 hit!
