BETHEL TOWNSHIP -- Investigators in Clark County think it was a medical condition that left a Clark County man dead.Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly says a call came in Wednesday night about a man lying dead in the roadway. Kelly says when deputies arrived they found 49-year-old James Foley in the road near his house on Greenacres Road. We're told that because of the way Foley was acting, his wife was about to drive to their neighbor's house to see if James had taken anything there with his medications. Kelly says that's when he tried to jump on the hood of their car before dropping to the ground.Neighbors tell us James, better known as Jimmy was a big teddy bear, he laid carpet and tile for years. He's known in the community because he does such good work, said Alicia Crawford.Kelly says the case will remain open while they will wait for toxicology results to see what was in Foley's system. They do not suspect any foul play from his wife driving the vehicle.
